Prima pagina a Orlandiei
Daca zona de industrial-oniric, atat de draga pictorului Radu Prişcu a facut, pentru ca il reprezinta, deschiderea acestor pagini virtuale, spectaculosul in creatia sa incepe odata cu aparitia Orlandiei. Juvetele de trefla, roata, standul cu tir, cazanul cu vata de zahar - toate acestea, asadar balciul, atat de caracteristice micilor targuri din Romania altor vremuri, incremenesc astazi pentru eternitate in gheata uleiurilor lui Radu. Lumea creata astfel de el in seria Orlandia, Oniricul dar si lumea lui Orlando (...) devin expresia unui status de viata distilat creator. Alaturi de aceasta himera pierduta a copilariei, suprarealismul continua sa se manifeste cu acelasi talent. Portretul injumatatit al tinerei fete pictata intre elemente vegetale ascunde in partea nevazuta fireste... rechini! |
The first page of Orlandia
If the industrial-oneiric zone so dear to Radu Prişcu motivated, because it represents him, the opening of these virtual pages, the spectacular in his creation began with the appearance of Orlandia. The Jack of clubs, the wheel, the air rifle side stall, the cotton candy bowl – all these, in other words the funfair, so characteristic of the small trading posts in Romania back in the day, freeze today for eternity in the ice of Radu’s oil paints. The world thus created by him in the Orlandia series, the Oneiric but also the world of Orlando (…) become the expression of a life state that distills the creator. Beside this lost chimera of childhood, Surrealism continues to manifest itself with the same intensity. The halved portrait of a young girl painted among vegetal elements hides in the unseen part… the sharks. |
